I send a short questionnaire asking what you've used, what you're hoping to get out of the session, and what you actually do for work. This matters because I tailor every session to your world — if you're a lawyer, I'm showing you legal research tools. If you run a small business, we're building your website live.

I also use Fathom to record and transcribe the session. After the call, you get the full recording, a searchable transcript, and an AI-generated summary. So you don't need to take notes — just pay attention.

First 30 Minutes

What AI Actually Is (And Isn't)

I don't start with slides. I start with a reframe. Instead of "Artificial Intelligence," think "Autocomplete Machines." That's genuinely all they're doing — predicting the next word based on patterns.

Key concepts we cover:

  • The models are not all the same. ChatGPT is a product, not a model. Claude is better at writing. Gemini has a massive memory. DeepSeek is free and open source.
  • Context windows matter. ChatGPT 5.2 can hold about one Harry Potter novel; Gemini 3 Pro can hold all seven.
  • They forget you every time unless you set up a project with persistent instructions.
  • They're not infallible. Powerful doesn't mean perfect.

I also share why this matters for you. Klarna — the payments company — replaced 700 customer service agents with AI. Their CEO called it a success. Then a year later, they started hiring humans again because the AI couldn't handle complex cases. That story captures the current state of AI better than anything: it's transformative, but it's not magic. Knowing the difference is the whole point of the session.
